American Museum Membership Conference | Houston, TX | October 23-26, 2023
When you register don't forget to take a few minutes and book your room at the conference hotel as well.

The majority of attendees will attend in-person, however, there is also an option for membership professionals to join virtually to access many of the session streamed live and recordings. The registration fee is the same whether you attend in-person or virtually. You may change from in-person to virtual (or vice versa) at any point by logging back into your registration. Vendors and sponsors who wish to attend virtually should contact AMMC staff.

3-day experience includes
Monday: sessions (beginning at 1 pm) and opening dinner
Tuesday: sessions (all day), breakfast, lunch, and evening reception

4-day experience includes
Monday: sessions (beginning at 1 pm) and opening dinner

Thursday: breakfast, lunch, and excursion session at Space Center Houston (ending at 4:30 pm)

Leadership Forum adds

Virtual experience includes
Monday: sessions (beginning at 1 pm)

Wednesday: sessions (all day)

New to AMMC this year for museum professionals!

This year programming includes a Leadership Forum developed for senior-level Membership professionals to expand their peer network and join a dedicated forum to discuss leadership, collaboration, and other workplace challenges.

This year’s Leadership Forum features a panel of cultural organization leaders sharing strategies for successful workforce development and planning.

We are also creating Peer Outreach Groups (POG) this year. These small networking groups are designed to give nonprofit membership professionals an opportunity to connect with others at the conference by getting to know each other, arranging leisure time, attending sessions, and trading notes! The 3-4 participants assigned to each POG will be able to connect both prior to and during the conference. There is no fee to participate.
