Join a Peer Outreach Group (POG) at 2025 AMMC Cleveland
What is a POG?
A POG (Peer Outreach Group) is a way for AMMC conference attendees to connect with new people and build professional networks. Each POG is comprised of 3–5 participants grouped by common themes—you may find yourself in a POG with others who have a similar organizational type, who use the same customer relationship management (CRM) database, or who live and work in the same geographic region.
Who should participate?
Membership professionals working at a visitor-serving and/or cultural organization who are interested in meeting a group of peers at 2025 AMMC Cleveland.
What does a POG do?
Each POG is self-managed by its participating members—the AMMC Inclusion Committee will make the introductions and let you take it from there. We recommend scheduling a virtual call before the conference to introduce yourselves, and so you can recognize one another when in Cleveland. POGs can arrange to attend sessions together, meet during meals, and share notes with one another.
How do I join a POG?
Fill out the application form below by March 17, 2025. In the application, you can indicate your preference for how you’d like to be matched with others: by organizational type, CRM database, or geographic region. The application also asks for details like membership program size and annual visitation, to help further match you with other POG participants. POG assignments will be sent out by April 11 for applications received by the deadline, allowing participants to connect prior to arriving in Cleveland.
