Conference Scholarships
We welcome your interest in applying for a scholarship to AMMC Los Angeles (October 26–29, 2026). No other conference offers more opportunities to deepen your expertise in membership fundraising with multiple sessions each day all in one location, while also building long-lasting friendships and a network that will support your career for years to come.
To increase access to AMMC and encourage new participants who might not otherwise be able to attend the conference, we offer comprehensive scholarships, which underwrite the cost of registration, hotel, and travel. Three types of scholarships are available; one full scholarship will be awarded in each category and three additional registration only waivers will be awarded. Registration waivers may be awarded to any scholarship category. While registration waivers will not cover travel expenses and hotel costs, we hope waiving registration fees will make attending the conference more accessible.
We are grateful for our sponsors, whose generous support makes this program possible.

Evaluation and Award Process
AMMC’s Inclusion Committee is responsible for evaluating applications, awarding scholarships, and stewarding scholarship recipients.
AMMC sets the standard for professionals in the field of membership-based fundraising. The AMMC Inclusion Committee is dedicated to furthering diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility within conference events and networks by awarding and stewarding scholarships, facilitating networking events and groups, and fostering a sense of belonging among participants.
To achieve this, we evaluate all scholarship applications through an equity lens. Here's how applications will be considered:
Financial Need
We encourage you to share how this scholarship would alleviate financial constraints and allow you to participate in the valuable learning and networking opportunities offered at the AMMC conference. By doing so, it will allow us to prioritize those who face a significant barrier to attending without financial assistance.
First-Time Attendees
We are committed to expanding our community by offering scholarships to individuals who haven't previously attended the AMMC conference. However, the final selection will consider the overall quality of all applications received. We also recognize that situations change, and we value long-term engagement with our membership community.
People from Underrecognized Backgrounds
AMMC encourages individuals from communities that have historically not received equitable professional opportunities. We believe your unique experiences and perspectives enrich our community and scholarship program. While all the above elements are key, we are also looking for applicants who demonstrate a passion for the membership field and commitment to professional development.
If this opportunity speaks to you, please apply—even if you don’t meet every listed requirement. Submit your application today and share your story!
